of <h1>2025-26 Tariff Order: No Hike in Electricity Charges for Domestic Users, Simplified Slabs, New Night Tariff for Industry</h1> Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission (PSERC) announced the 2025-26 tariff order with no increase in electricity charges for domestic consumers. Despite a reported revenue deficit by Punjab State Power Corporation Limited, PSERC found a surplus of Rs 311.50 crore. The tariff system for domestic and non-residential consumers has been simplified from three slabs to two without additional financial burden. Domestic consumers using over 300 units will see reduced charges. Non-residential consumers with loads up to 20 kW will also benefit from reduced charges. A special night tariff for industrial consumers and a new category for residential complexes have been introduced.
