The ED seized Rs 8 lakh during the searches under the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA). The couple reportedly ran a sophisticated adult webcam studio and received foreign remittances under the guise of legitimate services, violating FEMA. Illegal remittances of Rs 15.66 crore were found in their accounts, with Rs 7 crore transferred to an undisclosed Netherlands account. The couple retained most of the earnings, paying models only a fraction.
