of <h1>Adani Energy acquires Mahan Transmission from REC, boosting network capacity with new substations and transmission lines.</h1> Adani Energy Solution Ltd, part of the Gautam Adani conglomerate, has acquired Mahan Transmission Ltd, an intra-state transmission project, from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited. The project, valued at Rs 2,200 crore, involves establishing substations with a capacity of 2,800 MVA and a 740 ckm transmission line, enhancing AESL's network to 26,668 ckm and 89,986 MVA. Scheduled for completion by April 2027, it will evacuate 1,230 MW of power from Adani Power's expansion unit in Madhya Pradesh. This acquisition, AESL's seventh this fiscal year, supports its strategy to enhance shareholder value.
