of <h1>JKMSCL Extends Services to SKIMS to Boost Procurement Efficiency and Improve Patient Care; Recruitment Aided by JKPSC.</h1> The Jammu and Kashmir Medical Supplies Corporation Limited (JKMSCL) services have been extended to the Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) to address the issue of unutilized procurement funds. Despite this extension, SKIMS remains an autonomous institution. The Health Minister highlighted that internal procurement mechanisms were inadequate, leading to significant lapses in funds over recent years. The decision aims to enhance procurement efficiency, thereby improving patient care. Additionally, recruitment processes will be supported by the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission and Services Selection Board to ensure transparency and efficiency in filling vacancies at SKIMS.
