The tourism department has already invested Rs 6.32 crore in Shopian under the Swadesh Darshan Scheme and completed several projects under the CAPEX budget. Plans include constructing facilities such as eco-log huts and cafeterias, though construction restrictions exist due to forest jurisdiction. Efforts are underway to secure land for these developments.
