Headed by the Chief Secretary, the committee includes key administrative secretaries and the Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister. It aims to examine humanitarian, legal, and financial issues concerning the regularisation of casual and seasonal laborers. A roadmap will be developed for presentation in the upcoming budget session. The committee is empowered to include additional members if necessary, and there are approximately 67,000 daily wage workers in various categories in Jammu.
