<h1>Two New Members Appointed to West Bengal Information Commission, Including Ex-MP and Retired Tax Officer</h1> The wife of the Director General of Police and a former Member of Parliament from the Trinamool Congress have been appointed as new members of the West Bengal Information Commission. The appointments were made following a meeting attended by the Chief Minister and the Parliamentary Affairs Minister. The newly appointed members include a retired Income Tax officer and a former Lok Sabha MP. The current state information commissioner is a former DGP. The Leader of the Opposition did not attend the meeting.
