This project connects smallholder farmers growing biofortified crops with school feeding programs, providing nutritious meals to children in Pune, Nashik, and Nandurbar. By supplying iron-enriched pearl millet and zinc-enriched wheat seeds, and offering sustainable farming training, the initiative aims to improve nutrition and strengthen local agriculture. Supported by Cargill's funding, the project promotes nutrition literacy and aims to serve 1.4 million nutritious meals by 2027, fostering a sustainable food system and healthier future for communities.
