This development ensures the port's completion by 2028, ahead of schedule, enhancing maritime trade and industrial growth. Developed by Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd under a public-private partnership, the project is estimated at Rs 8,867 crore. The port, which received its commercial commissioning certificate in December, is set to be commissioned once the Prime Minister finalizes a date.
