Additionally, Rs 15 crore is allocated under the National Landslide Risk Mitigation Programme for risk assessment and engineering solutions. A Rs 39-crore Disaster Mitigation Fund is also being established to enhance disaster preparedness. The government is committed to ensuring a secure annual pilgrimage to the Amarnath shrine, improving safety measures, and supporting local businesses to boost tourism and create livelihood opportunities.
