Tata Electronics will invest over Rs 91,000 crore to establish the fab in Dholera, with a capacity of 50,000 wafers per month. The Indian government will provide 50% fiscal support for eligible project costs. This initiative, in collaboration with Taiwan's Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation, aims to create over 20,000 jobs and strengthen India's position in global semiconductor markets, particularly in automotive, computing, communications, and AI sectors.
