The case, originating from a 2020 CBI FIR, accused the company and its directors of criminal conspiracy and cheating by diverting loan funds. The National Company Law Tribunal initiated liquidation proceedings against PSL Limited the same year. Following a Delhi High Court directive, the ED facilitated the release of Rs 274 crore in fixed deposits to restore the assets to legitimate claimants and victims, marking progress in its anti-financial crime efforts.
