This marks an increase from 63.6% of the Revised Estimates (RE) during the same period last year. The net tax revenue was Rs 19.03 lakh crore, or 74.4% of the RE, while total expenditure was Rs 35.7 lakh crore, or 75.7% of the RE. The fiscal deficit for 2024-25 is projected at 4.8% of GDP, amounting to Rs 15.69 lakh crore.
