<h1>Adani Green Energy surpasses 12,000 MW renewable capacity, powering 6.2 million homes and cutting CO2 by 22.64 million tonnes.</h1> Adani Green Energy (AGEL) has reached a milestone with its renewable energy capacity surpassing 12,000 MW, following the commissioning of a 275 MW solar project in Khavda, Gujarat. This achievement makes AGEL the first renewable energy company in India to reach this capacity, comprising over 8,347.5 MW solar, 1,651 MW wind, and 2,259.6 MW wind-solar hybrid. The operational portfolio will power over 6.2 million homes and reduce CO2 emissions by 22.64 million tonnes annually. AGEL is also developing a 30,000 MW renewable energy plant in Khavda, set to be the world's largest across all energy sources.
