<h1>EPFO Maintains 8.25% Interest Rate on Provident Fund Deposits for 2024-25 Pending Finance Ministry Approval</h1> The Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) has maintained an interest rate of 8.25% on employees' provident fund deposits for the fiscal year 2024-25. This decision was made by the Central Board of Trustees and awaits approval from the Ministry of Finance. Previously, the interest rate was increased to 8.25% for 2023-24 from 8.15% in 2022-23. The rate had been at a four-decade low of 8.1% in 2021-22. The interest rate will be credited to over seven crore subscribers' accounts upon government ratification.
