This contract boosts Jupiter's status as a leading manufacturer of railway wheelsets. The company's order book now totals Rs 560 crore. Jupiter plans to expand its manufacturing capabilities with a new facility in Odisha, investing Rs 2,500 crore to increase production capacity to 100,000 forged wheelsets annually. The axle production is expected to start by December 2026, with full operations by December 2027.
