The nomination was made by the Chairperson of the Competition Commission of Pakistan. This group serves as a specialized forum for consensus building and cooperation among developing countries' competition authorities. The 12th session is taking place from July 9-11, and the newly elected chairperson will lead the group's activities for the next year.
