The Government of India has decided to establish an Investment Tracking System to ensure speedy implementation of major investment projects in the country. Projects in the private sector are to be monitored and followed up by the Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance.

As part of the above initiative, a format for monitoring such projects in private sector and under Public Private Partnership (PPP) has been developed and is available at Department’s website www.financialservices.gov.in. Promoters of projects in the private sector and under Public Private Partnership (PPP), where the proposed investment is Rs. 1000 crore and above, are requested to provide details of their projects along with reasons behind delay, if any, to [email protected] and [email protected]. This information may also be updated on a monthly basis. The Department is separately working on developing a web based system for the monitoring of such projects which will enable the stakeholders in updating the status on a regular basis.

Investment tracking system to monitor major private and PPP projects requires promoter status updates and reasons for delay. The Government has instituted an Investment Tracking System to expedite implementation of major private-sector and PPP projects, assigning the Department of Financial Services to monitor and follow up. Promoters meeting the investment threshold must provide project details and reasons for delay to designated contacts and update monthly. A web-based platform is being developed to allow stakeholders to enter and update project status regularly, enabling centralized oversight and ongoing tracking.
