However, in rupee terms, the price increased slightly to Rs 5472.10 per barrel from Rs 5468.16 due to the depreciation of the rupee against the dollar. The exchange rate was Rs 55.56 per US$ on June 5, 2012, compared to Rs 55.52 on June 4, 2012.
