<h1>Sensex and Nifty rebound after eight-day slump; HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries lead recovery.</h1> Stock markets ended an eight-day losing streak as the Sensex rose by 57.65 points, closing at 75,996.86, aided by value buying in HDFC Bank and Reliance Industries. The Nifty also rebounded by 30.25 points to 22,959.50. Major gainers included Bajaj Finserv and Tata Motors, while Mahindra & Mahindra and Infosys were among the laggards. Foreign portfolio investors have withdrawn nearly Rs 1 lakh crore in 2025, influenced by global tensions and US tariffs. Asian markets showed mixed results, with European markets trading higher and US markets mostly lower. Brent crude rose to USD 74.90 a barrel.
