The Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Limited has started construction on two projects in Una district and three in Solan district, with additional projects in the pipeline. A 6 MW project in Una is in the tendering phase. Surveys for eight more projects totaling 325 MW are underway. The government aims to make Himachal Pradesh the first 'Green Energy' state by 2026 and is also developing a 1 MW green hydrogen project in collaboration with Oil India Limited.
