G, MD, NaBFID NEW DELHI, Feb. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID), India's premier development financial institution established by the Government of India in 2021 to accelerate investment in the country's infrastructure sector, is organizing a high-impact event that will bring together key policymakers, municipal leaders, and financial institutions to shape the next phase of India's urban transformation. This event is scheduled to happen on February 06, 2025, Thursday in New Delhi.

        NaBFID has collaborated with the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for this initiative. As a marquee platform, this workshop will define strategies to strengthen India's urban landscape.

        With India poised to take the lead in sustainable growth, the contribution of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) is more important than ever. The event will host panel discussions on key themes, including the Role of ULBs in Viksit Bharat 2047, Improving the Finances/ Resource Composition of ULBs, ULBs Role towards Net Zero, 2070 (Focus on Waste Management).
