<h1>National manufacturing mission to form committee to recommend reforms reducing business costs and enhancing technology and workforce readiness.</h1> A committee under the national manufacturing mission will examine measures to reduce business costs, develop a future-ready workforce, and expand technology availability to promote Make in India. Comprising central and state representatives, ministries and private stakeholders, it will identify sectors with competitive and export potential and recommend roles for the Centre and states. The mission's mandate covers five focus areas: ease and cost of doing business; workforce development; MSME vitality; technology access; and product quality, with emphasis on startup support, policy backing, implementation roadmaps, governance and monitoring.
