<h1>Coal India Ltd Faces First Monthly Production Dip in January 2025, Yet Maintains Optimistic Growth Outlook</h1> Coal India Ltd (CIL) experienced its first monthly production decline in January 2025, with output decreasing by 0.8% year-on-year to 77.8 million tonnes. Despite this, CIL remains optimistic about growth in the upcoming months. From April 2024 to January 2025, CIL's production grew by 1.8% to 621.1 million tonnes. January's offtake rose by 2.2% to 68.6 million tonnes. Declines in production from South Eastern Coalfields Ltd (SECL) and Bharat Coking Coal Ltd (BCCL) contributed to the overall decrease. SECL's production fell by 11.8%, while BCCL's dropped by 5.6%. CIL may miss its annual production target of 838 million tonnes.
