Flipkart had acquired a 75% stake in Sastasundar Marketplace in 2021. The transaction to regain these rights involved selling preference shares worth nearly Rs 100 crore to Flipkart, resulting in a one-time accounting loss of Rs 188 crore. Sastasundar Ventures re-acquired the brand's IPRs and non-compete rights through its subsidiary, Sastasundar Healthtech Ltd. The company plans to merge this entity with its holding company and launch its app.
