Sunsure Energy Signs 300 MW Solar PPA with SECI for Bikaner Project, Aiming for 5 GW Capacity by 2028.
Sunsure Energy has signed its first utility-scale solar Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), marking a significant milestone in its expansion. The agreement involves a 300 MW solar project with Inter-State Transmission System connectivity, part of SECI's Tranche XIII auction. The solar park, to be developed in Bikaner, Rajasthan, is expected to be completed by December 2026 with a development cost of Rs. 1,800 crore. This project aligns with Sunsure's goal to reach 5 GW operational capacity by 2028 and supports India's transition to renewable energy. Sunsure is backed by Partners Group AG with a $400 million equity commitment.
