of <h1>Lilavati Hospital and Mayo Clinic to Build Cancer Care Institute in Mumbai, Creating Thousands of Jobs.</h1> Lilavati Hospital has partnered with Mayo Clinic to establish a 300-bed Cancer Care Institute in Mumbai and a hospital in Gift City, Gandhinagar. The Maharashtra government will provide land at a subsidized rate for the Mumbai facility, which will cost Rs 800 crore and cover 3,50,000 square feet. The project, funded through donations and banks, is expected to create 5,000-6,000 jobs and be completed in two years. Additionally, a Rs 500-crore facility in Gift City aims to enhance Indian healthcare. An MoU with Mayo Clinic will also launch a Nursing Excellence Programme to improve nursing skills and knowledge.
