The company is optimistic about meeting its targets, with subsidiaries like Mahanadi, Northern, and Western Coalfields performing well. CIL also focuses on reducing thermal coal imports, which have decreased by 3.1%. The overall coal production target for India in FY'25 is 1080 million tonnes.
