The upgrades aim to enhance passenger experience and increase capacity to meet future demands. During the closure, Terminal 1 will manage the additional passenger load, minimizing disruptions. T2, constructed 40 years ago, will undergo significant improvements to support growing domestic air travel demand. The refurbishment is expected to complete by the second quarter of the 2025-26 financial year.
