of <h1>NTPC Renewable Energy Wins 1,000-MW Solar Project from UPPCL at Rs 2.56/kWh in E-Reverse Auction.</h1> NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd has won a 1,000-MW solar power project from Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) at a tariff of Rs 2.56/kWh. The company emerged as the successful bidder in an e-reverse auction conducted by UPPCL on January 3, aimed at selecting solar power developers for 2,000 MW ISTS-connected solar PV projects in India under tariff-based competitive bidding. The official letter of award from UPPCL is still pending. NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd is a subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Ltd.
