These included 678 trap cases, 31 disproportionate assets cases, and seven other offences. The trend has been decreasing since 2014, with notable drops during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nashik recorded the highest cases, followed by Pune and Mumbai. The Revenue Department and police accounted for the majority of trap cases, involving significant monetary amounts. Disproportionate assets cases involved 61 individuals and Rs 31.69 crore, primarily in the Revenue Department. Other corruption cases involved 34 individuals across various officer classes.
