A three-day National Conference on Enforcement and Capacity Building in Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) was held at the National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes, and Narcotics (NACIN) in Palasamudram, Andhra Pradesh. The event, inaugurated by a senior customs official, emphasized enhancing the role of Indian Customs in IPR enforcement, improving officers' skills, leveraging technology, and developing strategies against IPR violations. The conference aimed to strengthen inter-agency coordination, engage with rights holders, and address challenges in IP protection. A key feature was NACIN's new Immersive Training Centre, offering advanced training and resources on IPR laws.
