Imports in November 2011 were $35.92 billion, a 24.55% rise compared to the previous year, with cumulative imports for the same period at $309.53 billion, up 30.24%. Oil imports in November 2011 increased by 32.28%, while non-oil imports rose by 21.69%. The trade deficit for April-November 2011 was $116.84 billion, higher than the $93.00 billion deficit in the same period of the previous year.
