<h1>Finance Ministry Releases Rs. 7,183.42 Crore to 14 States as 7th Post Devolution Revenue Deficit Grant Installment.</h1> The Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance, has released the seventh monthly installment of the Post Devolution Revenue Deficit Grant, amounting to Rs. 7,183.42 crore, to 14 states. This increases the total grant distributed in the current financial year to Rs. 50,283.92 crore, with a total of Rs. 86,201 crore planned for 2022-23. The grants, recommended by the Fifteenth Finance Commission, aim to bridge revenue gaps in states post-devolution. The states receiving these funds include Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Punjab, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Tripura, Uttarakhand, and West Bengal.
