<h1>Rs. 250 crore allocated to 10 Indian states for Rainfed Area Development Programme in 2011-12 to boost agriculture.</h1> Rs. 250 crore has been allocated to 10 Indian states for the Rainfed Area Development Programme (RADP) during the 2011-12 period. The allocations are as follows: Rajasthan and Maharashtra receive Rs. 35 crore each, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh Rs. 30 crore each, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu Rs. 25 crore each, Orissa and Karnataka Rs. 20 crore each, and Andhra Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Rs. 15 crore each. RADP, under the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY), aims to enhance agricultural productivity and livelihood security for small and marginal farmers. No additional funding is planned for 2011-12.
