Rs. 250.00 crore has been allocated to 10 states for Rainfed Area Development Programme (RADP) during 2011-12. State-wise allocation is as under:

Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY) is a State Plan Scheme introduced in 2007 with the objective of enhancing production and productivity in agriculture and allied sectors through state specific interventions. RADP has been introduced as a sub-scheme of RKVY during 2011-12 with specific focus on small and marginal farmers by offering a complete package of activities to maximize farm returns for enhancing livelihood security. No enhancement in allocation is being considered for 2011-12.
