<h1>India's Revival Package for Cooperative Credit Under Review, Task Force Report Submitted to Government.</h1> The Government of India approved a Revival Package for the Long Term Cooperative Credit Structure (LTCCS) in February 2009, based on the Vaidyanathan Task Force-II recommendations. A Task Force was later formed to assess the effects of the 2008 Agricultural Debt Waiver and Debt Relief Scheme and the implementation of the Short Term Cooperative Credit Structure (STCCS) in 25 states on this package. The Task Force has submitted its report, and the package is currently under government consideration, as stated by the Minister of State for Finance in the Rajya Sabha.
