Significant increases were seen in petroleum products (119.47%) and electronic goods (41.42%). Imports also rose to USD 361.1 billion from USD 258.6 billion. The government extended the Foreign Trade Policy and implemented various schemes to boost exports, such as RoDTEP and RoSCTL. Initiatives like Districts as Export Hubs and enhanced roles for Indian missions abroad were also introduced to promote trade and support local exporters.
