<h1>States' Start-up Ranking 2021 to be Announced on July 4; Promotes Competitive Federalism and Strengthens Ecosystem.</h1> The States' Start-up Ranking 2021 results will be announced on 4th July 2022 by the Minister of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade conducted this third edition to enhance competitive and cooperative federalism, encouraging states and union territories to support start-ups. This year, 24 states and 7 union territories participated, focusing on 7 reform areas with 26 action points. The evaluation covered support provided from October 2019 to July 2021, with feedback from over 7,200 beneficiaries. The exercise aims to strengthen the start-up ecosystem, especially in Tier-II and Tier-III cities.
