<h1>Fifteen Companies Selected for PLI Scheme Round Two: Rs 1,368 Crore Investment in AC and LED Components.</h1> Fifteen companies have been selected in the second round of the Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) Scheme for White Goods, focusing on air conditioners and LED lights, with a committed investment of Rs 1,368 crore. Six companies will invest Rs 908 crore in AC components, while nine companies will invest Rs 460 crore in LED components. This initiative is expected to generate production worth Rs 25,583 crore over five years and create 4,000 direct jobs. Overall, 61 companies approved under the scheme will bring investments of Rs 6,632 crore, with production valued at Rs 1,22,671 crore and 46,368 new jobs. The domestic value addition is anticipated to rise significantly.
