The importer, associated with a firm in Uttarakhand, was elusive and changed locations to avoid capture. Eventually, he was apprehended in a Punjab village. The importer has been arrested under the NDPS Act, 1985, and presented before a magistrate in Amritsar, with a transit remand granted for further proceedings in Bhuj. The investigation continues.
