<h1>IBBI Processes 1,060 Insolvency Cases in Two Years; Section 12A Withdrawals and Liquidations Among Outcomes.</h1> The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Board of India (IBBI) admitted 1,060 cases into the corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) over two years, with 538 cases in 2020-21 and 522 cases in 2021-22 (up to December 31, 2021). As reported by the Union Minister of State for Corporate Affairs, the outcomes of these cases include appeals, reviews, settlements, withdrawals under Section 12A, resolutions, liquidations, and ongoing proceedings. Specifically, for 2020-21, there were 49 appeals, 93 settlements, 9 resolutions, 63 liquidations, and 324 ongoing cases, while in 2021-22, there were 13 appeals, 47 settlements, 4 liquidations, and 458 ongoing cases.
