Decision has been taken to develop a platform for data exchange among all mode of operators. Accordingly, Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP) has been designed by National Industrial Corridor Development Corporation Limited (NICDC), under the guidance of NITI Aayog. So far, the platform has been integrated with 24 systems of six Ministries including Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways, Ministry of Railways, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Directorate General Foreign Trade and Central Board of Indirect Taxes (CBIC) through 78 Application Programming Interface (APIs).
National Highways Logistics Management Limited (NHLML), a wholly owned subsidiary of NHAI, has already invited bids for development of Nagpur, Chennai and Bangalore Multi-Modal Logistic Parks and initiated the feasibility study for MMLP at Indore.
The Government of India has already undertaken various reforms like PM GatiShakti, Bharatmala, Sagarmala, Parvatmala, UDAN, Customs SWIFT clearances and GSTN, for efficient movement of goods and reduction in logistics cost.

Unified logistics data exchange enables cross mode operator integration via standardized APIs to streamline regulatory data sharing and logistics coordination. A unified digital framework, the Unified Logistics Interface Platform (ULIP), has been developed to enable interoperable data exchange among transport mode operators via Application Programming Interface integrations linking systems of multiple transport and trade ministries, supporting standardized logistics information flows and administrative coordination.Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
