Gains CCI Nod to Raise Stake in Future Generali India Insurance to 74.</h1> The Competition Commission of India has approved the acquisition of an additional equity stake in Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited by Generali Participations Netherlands N.V., a subsidiary of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. This transaction involves Generali Participations Netherlands N.V. increasing its shareholding in the insurance company from 49% to approximately 74% by acquiring around 25% of shares from Future Enterprises Limited. Future Generali India Insurance Company Limited provides non-life insurance services in India, and this acquisition strengthens Generali Group's presence in the Indian insurance market. A detailed order from the CCI is expected to follow.
