<h1>GeM Launches Stitching and Tailoring Services with USHA to Empower Women SHGs on International Women's Day.</h1> GeM has launched a new service vertical, Stitching and Tailoring Services, on International Women's Day, in collaboration with USHA International Ltd. This initiative aims to provide new opportunities for women self-help groups (SHGs) in urban and rural areas by allowing them to fulfill government orders, thus supporting the 3 percent procurement target for women MSE entrepreneurs. The program will enhance livelihood incomes by facilitating direct market access for women seamstresses and offering technical training and capacity building. GeM will provide tools and resources, including dashboards and online learning, to support these entrepreneurs in accessing government markets.
