<h1>Finance Minister Launches Rs. 165 Crore Projects in J&K for Health, Education, and Urban Infrastructure Development.</h1> Union Finance Minister inaugurated development projects worth Rs. 165 crore in Jammu and Kashmir, including health, education, urban infrastructure, and disaster management initiatives. The projects are part of the Jhelum and Tawi Flood Recovery Project, funded by a $250 million World Bank credit, initiated after the 2014 floods. The project aims to restore services and improve resilience, with $50 million allocated for COVID-19 response. Medical equipment and oxygen plants were procured to enhance health infrastructure. Artisan clusters were developed to revive traditional crafts and provide employment. Srinagar was recently enlisted in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network for Craft Folk Arts.
