The use of AI was recommended to simplify operations and monitor business malpractices. Integration projects with Indian Railways and other governmental bodies are underway. Since its inception in 2016, GeM has seen significant growth, with MSMEs making up a large portion of its transactions. Recently, GeM won a prestigious award for its digital technology use in procurement.
