The Government of India sets target for ground level credit to Agriculture every year. The Agency wise target and achievement for 2009-10, 2010-11 & 2011-12 is as under:

The overall achievement was 118% and 119% during the year 2009-10 and 2010-11 respectively.
This information was given by the Minister of State for Finance, Shri Namo Narain Meena in written reply to an Unstarred Question in Lok Sabha today.

Agricultural credit targets exceeded, with overall achievement above target for consecutive years indicating strong credit flow. Targets for Ground Level Credit to Agriculture were reported with agency-wise targets and achievements for commercial banks, cooperative banks and RRBs. The release records aggregate targets and actual credit flows, noting overall achievement rates of 118% for 2009-10 and 119% for 2010-11, and provides provisional figures for 2011-12 up to 31 August 2011. of Press 'Enter' after typing page number.
