<h1>India Surpasses Agricultural Credit Goals in 2009-11, Achieving Over 118% of Targets; Provisional 2011-12 Figures Released.</h1> The Government of India exceeded its targets for ground level credit to agriculture in 2009-10 and 2010-11, achieving 118% and 119% of the set goals, respectively. In 2009-10, commercial banks, cooperative banks, and regional rural banks collectively surpassed the target of Rs. 325,000 crore with an actual credit flow of Rs. 384,514.20 crore. Similarly, in 2010-11, the target of Rs. 375,000 crore was exceeded with a total credit flow of Rs. 446,778.98 crore. The provisional figures for 2011-12 indicate a credit flow of Rs. 191,015.97 crore against a target of Rs. 475,000 crore.
