of <h1>India's WPI for Primary Articles Drops 0.8%; Food Prices Down, Fuel Prices Up 1% in November 2011.</h1> The Wholesale Price Index (WPI) for Primary Articles in India decreased by 0.8% to 203.0 for the week ending November 5, 2011, with an annual inflation rate of 10.39%. The Food Articles index dropped by 0.9% due to price declines in fish, masur, poultry, and vegetables. Non-Food Articles also saw a 0.9% decrease. Conversely, the Fuel & Power index rose by 1.0% to 171.5, with an annual inflation rate of 15.49%, driven by higher prices for aviation fuel, furnace oil, and petrol.
