India and Belgium, a key trading partner within the EU, are exploring ways to diversify their trade, which is currently dominated by the gems and jewelry sector, particularly diamonds. In 2010-11, Indo-Belgium trade grew significantly, with exports to Belgium increasing by 67.49% and imports by 43.04%. Both countries are looking to expand into sectors like pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and renewable energy.
