MCA Simplifies Procedures: Extends Company Law Settlement Scheme, Integrates DIN with PAN, Speeds Up e-Form Approvals.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs has introduced measures to simplify procedures under the Companies Act, 1956, and the LLP Act, 2008, to enhance service delivery. Key initiatives include extending the Company Law Settlement Scheme until December 15, 2011, allowing companies to file overdue returns and financial statements, which has generated Rs. 7.71 crore in revenue. The integration of the Director's Identification Number with the PAN database aims to eliminate duplicate DINs, with an updated deadline of December 15, 2011. Additionally, the approval time for e-forms by the Registrar of Companies has been reduced from 120 to 60 days, and LLP filings are now accessible for public viewing.
